The eight blessings included in Matthew 5:3-12 from Jesus during His Sermon on the Mount…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Blessed are<\/em> the poor in spirit,<\/span><\/strong>
\nFor theirs is the kingdom of heaven.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Blessed are<\/em> those who mourn,<\/span><\/strong>
\nFor they shall be comforted.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Blessed are<\/em> the meek,<\/span><\/strong>
\nFor they shall inherit the earth.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Blessed are<\/em> those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,<\/span><\/strong>
\nFor they shall be filled.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Blessed are<\/em> the merciful,<\/span><\/strong>
\nFor they shall obtain mercy. <\/sup><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Blessed are<\/em> the pure in heart,<\/span><\/strong>
\nFor they shall see God.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Blessed are<\/em> the peacemakers,<\/span><\/strong>
\nFor they shall be called sons of God.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Blessed are<\/em> those who are persecuted for righteousness\u2019 sake,<\/span><\/strong>
