\"do<\/a>Do you know how many times in God tells us to ‘fear not’, ‘do not fear’ or ‘do not be afraid’? I don’t either.<\/p>\n

It has been said that there are 365 ‘fear not’s in the Bible, one for everyday of the year. Others have searched and found only 100. Whatever, the number, it is a powerful promise from God…even if it appeared only once, it still stands as an AWESOME comfort for us.<\/p>\n

Here are some of my favorite ‘do not fear’ and ‘do not be afraid’ verses from Genesis to Revelation:<\/p>\n

After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b>,<\/span> Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward. \u201d – Genesis 15:1<\/p>\n

And the LORD appeared to him the same night and said, \u201cI am the God of your father Abraham;\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham\u2019s sake.\u201d – Genesis 26:24<\/p>\n

So He said, \u201cI am God, the God of your father;\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>\u00a0to go\u00a0down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there. – Genesis 46:3<\/p>\n

And Moses said to the people, \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b>;<\/span> for God has come to test you, and that His\u00a0fear\u00a0may be before you, so that you may\u00a0not\u00a0sin.\u201d – Exodus 20:20<\/p>\n

Look, the LORD your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the LORD God of your fathers has spoken to you;\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>\u00a0or be discouraged.\u2019 – Deuteronomy 1:21<\/p>\n

And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will\u00a0not\u00a0leave you nor forsake you;\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>nor be dismayed.\u201d – Deuteronomy 31:8<\/p>\n

Joshua said to them, \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b><\/span>;\u00a0do\u00a0not\u00a0be\u00a0discouraged.\u00a0Be\u00a0strong and courageous. This is what the LORD will\u00a0do\u00a0to all the enemies you are going to fight.\u201d – Joshua 10:25<\/p>\n

Then the LORD said to him, \u201cPeace be with you;\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>, you shall\u00a0not\u00a0die.\u201d – Judges 6:23<\/p>\n

And now, my daughter,\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>. I will\u00a0do\u00a0for you all that you request, for all the people of my town know that you are a virtuous woman. – Ruth 3:11<\/p>\n

Then Samuel said to the people, \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>. You have\u00a0do<\/b>ne all this wickedness; yet\u00a0do\u00a0not\u00a0turn aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart. – 1 Samuel 12:20<\/p>\n

So David said to him, \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>, for I will surely show you kindness for Jonathan your father\u2019s sake, and will restore to you all the land of Saul your grandfather; and you shall eat bread at my table continually.\u201d – 2 Samuel 9:7<\/p>\n

So he answered, \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.\u201d – 2 Kings 6:16<\/p>\n

And David said to his son Solomon, \u201cBe strong and of good courage, and\u00a0do\u00a0it;\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not\u00a0<\/b>fear<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>nor be dismayed, for the LORD God\u2014my God\u2014will be with you. He will\u00a0not\u00a0leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD. – 1 Chronicles 28:20<\/p>\n

In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will\u00a0not\u00a0fear<\/span><\/strong>. What can flesh\u00a0do\u00a0to me? – Psalm 56:4<\/p>\n

The LORD is on my side; I will\u00a0not\u00a0fear.<\/strong><\/span> What can man\u00a0do\u00a0to me? – Psalm 118:6<\/p>\n

Say to those who are\u00a0fearful-hearted, \u201cBe strong,\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b>!<\/span> Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.\u201d – Isaiah 35:4<\/p>\n

So do not fear,<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0for I am with you;\u00a0do not be dismayed, for I am your God.\u00a0I will strengthen\u00a0you and help\u00a0you;\u00a0I will uphold you\u00a0with my righteous right hand. – Isaiah 41:10
\n<\/sup><\/p>\n

For I am the\u00a0Lord,\u00a0your God,\u00a0who takes hold of your right hand\u00a0and says to you, Do not fear<\/strong>;<\/span>\u00a0I will help\u00a0you. – Isaiah 41:13<\/p>\n

Do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>, nor be afraid; Have I\u00a0not\u00a0told you from that time, and declared it? You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me? Indeed there is no other Rock; I know\u00a0not\u00a0<\/b>one.\u2019\u201d – Isaiah 44:8<\/p>\n

\u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b>,<\/span> for you will\u00a0not\u00a0be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will\u00a0not\u00a0be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will\u00a0not\u00a0remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. – Isaiah 54:4<\/p>\n

\u201cBut\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>, O My servant Jacob, And\u00a0do\u00a0not\u00a0be dismayed, O Israel! For behold, I will save you from afar, And your offspring from the land of their captivity; Jacob shall return, have rest and be at ease; No one shall make him afraid. – Jeremiah 46:27<\/p>\n

Then he continued, \u201cDo\u00a0not\u00a0be\u00a0afraid<\/strong>,<\/span> Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself\u00a0before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. – Daniel 10:12<\/p>\n

Do\u00a0not\u00a0lose heart or\u00a0be\u00a0afraid\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>when rumors are heard in the land; one rumor comes this year, another the next, rumors of violence in the land and of ruler against ruler. – Jeremiah 51:46<\/p>\n

\u2018According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you;\u00a0do\u00a0not\u00a0fear<\/strong><\/span>!\u2019 – Haggai 2:5<\/p>\n

So again in these days I am determined to\u00a0do\u00a0good To Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.\u00a0Do\u00a0not\u00a0fear.<\/strong><\/span> – Zechariah 8:15<\/p>\n

But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, \u201cJoseph son of David,\u00a0do\u00a0<\/b>not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>to take Mary home as your wife,\u00a0because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. – Matthew 1:20<\/p>\n

Therefore\u00a0do\u00a0not\u00a0fear<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>them. For there is\u00a0nothing covered that will\u00a0not\u00a0be revealed, and hidden that will\u00a0not\u00a0be known. – Matthew 10:26<\/p>\n

Do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b><\/span>\u00a0therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. – Matthew 10:31<\/p>\n

The angel said to the women, \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b>,<\/span> for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. – Matthew 28:5<\/p>\n

But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.\u00a0Do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. – Luke 12:7<\/p>\n

But the angel said to him: \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b>,<\/span> Zechariah; your prayer has\u00a0been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will\u00a0bear you a son, and you are to give him the name John. – Luke 1:13<\/p>\n

But the angel said to her, \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b><\/span>, Mary, you have found favor with God. – Luke 1:3<\/p>\n

But the angel said to them, \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b>.<\/span> I bring you good news of great joy that will\u00a0be\u00a0for all the people. – Luke 2:10<\/p>\n

\u201cI tell you, my friends,\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b><\/span>\u00a0of those who kill the body and after that can\u00a0do\u00a0no more. – Luke 12:4<\/p>\n

\u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b>,<\/span> little flock, for your Father has\u00a0been pleased to give you the kingdom. – Luke 12:32<\/p>\n

\u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b>,<\/span> O Daughter of Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a\u00a0donkey\u2019s colt.\u201d – John 12:15<\/p>\n

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I\u00a0do\u00a0not\u00a0give to you as the world gives.\u00a0Do\u00a0not\u00a0let your hearts\u00a0be\u00a0troubled and\u00a0do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b><\/span>. – John 14:27<\/p>\n

But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>what they\u00a0fear\u00a0;\u00a0do\u00a0not\u00a0be frightened.\u201d – 1 Peter 3:14<\/p>\n

When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: \u201cDo<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0be<\/b>\u00a0afraid<\/b>.<\/span> I am the First and the Last. – Revelation 1:17<\/p>\n

Do<\/b>\u00a0not<\/b>\u00a0fear<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. – Revelation 2:10<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
